Roadside Weed Spraying Thursday, March 8, 2012

Excel Tech will spray the weeds approximately 4½ feet on either side of the road on March 8th (Weather Permitting).  If it rains on that day a new date will be posted.

If you do not want your property sprayed, please place a stake and new bright red flag at the beginning and end of the section you do not want sprayed. Owners who chose not to have their property sprayed are required to abate ALL plant material within 12” of the road edge and must mow to 4” or less all other plant material within 3 feet of the road edge. The Association will have the roadside weeds sprayed now, and also in November of this year.

Please note, if you want more of your property sprayed than the road edge, please feel free to contact the Excel Tech office at 530-677-3183 or office@exceltechinc.net for an individual rate/estimate.

ELECTION RESULTS NOTICE

There was only one candidate for three vacancies in the February 15, 2012 special election. Pete Bower was elected to fill one of the vacancies and will serve out the term which ends in October of this year. Since the number of candidates was less than the number of vacancies, Pete was elected by acclamation pursuant to the Sun Ridge Ranch By-laws. Pete will serve as the Member at Large and the rest of the positions of the board officers will stay the same.

CLEARING SHRUBS & TREES

Please remember that pursuant to the SRR CC&R Clarifications, Rules & Enforcement Policy, Chapter 2, Section 6(c), Owners should cut and/or clear all shrubs, trees and other material that extends over, onto, or within 3 feet of the road edge. Shrubbery which extends over the road edge needs to be cut to a minimum height of 15 feet above the pavement. 

Please take a look at the trees and shrubs on the edge of your lot and make sure they are trimmed up and back.

Due to recent changes in CA Law, Kocal Management is required to cancel the existing email notification list and obtain new signatures from members that wish to obtain electronic copies of association documents. If you wish to receive  association documents which would otherwise be mailed via the United States Postal Service via email, please fill out and sign an Authorization Form.  Association documents which would normally be mailed but which may be emailed include disclosure summaries, pro forma operating budget, insurance coverage summaries, financial statement updates, meeting minutes, rule changes, updates to the reserve study, etc.  CA civil code requires that certain information continue to be sent via US mail.  For example, you will continue to receive a printed invoice each year for your annual assessment, however whenever authorized, correspondence such as those listed above shall be sent electronically to the email address(es) listed on the signed form.  

 

Signed Authorization Forms may be mailed, faxed, or scanned/emailed to Kocal Management.
